Morning Joe & Mika Just Made A Major Announcement In Response To Trump’s Attack

Whereas MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski were supposed to begin their 4th of July vacation tomorrow, they have instead opted to air one more show tomorrow morning in order to publicly respond to Trump’s vile and sexist Twitter attack.

According to The New York Post, an MSNBC source explained their decision to stay.

“Joe and Mika were supposed to start their July 4th weekend early by taking Friday off — but following Trump’s tweet, they postponed their trip by day so they can be back on air Friday morning to sling some ‘bad blood’ back at Trump.”

While a few of Trump’s most shamelessly loyal surrogates defended the President, nearly everyone else condemned his disgusting comment, including Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), Senator Susan Collins (R-ME), and Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC).

An MSNBC representative also responded to Trump’s tweet, saying, “It’s a sad day for America when the president spends his time bullying, lying, and spewing petty personal attacks instead of doing his job.”

Trump disgraceful comments are not only below the dignity of the office of the presidency, but have effectively eradicated what dwindling political capital he had left. Perhaps when the First Lady finally begins her anti-cyber bullying campaign, she could do this country a favor and start with her husband. Until then, America anxiously awaits hearing what the “Morning Joe” hosts have to say.
