Remember all his stupid supporters chanting at rallies “build that wall” like the bunch of puppets they are? This is just the latest in a long line of promises that Trump has broken and will continue to break. The wall is nothing though, wait until Trump and the GOP comes after their Obamacare, social security, medicare and retirement age, that’s when they’ll really feel the pinch. Everything that he said as in “Make America Great Again,” was believable and this is surprising ? Did everyone who voted for this clown, twitter finger crying-ass little girl, didn’t see this coming. Hate to say this but, it’s not even news flash people. He has been lying from the day he said I want to run for office and make America Great Again. The United States fell into a recession and guess what, the black president, the great human being of color, saved us from that recession. The one who didn’t think nor was given much credibility, even on his second term, did not win the office opportunity by lying. He united this country strong: lower our over-all deficit, created many new jobs and lowered the unemployment rate. People, this president is creating conflicts for the US, breaking international relations and adding costs to America-he wanted Mexico to pay, now facing reality ? Therein more lies and creating, “unexpected announcements.” I hope he gets impeached and gets out of office for some true, successful business person to take on such an important job.
President-elect Donald Trump’s most notable campaign promise was that he would construct a “big beautiful” border wall, and that he would make Mexico pay for it. “I would build a great wall. And nobody builds walls better than me, believe me. And I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great great wall on our southern border and I’ll have Mexico pay for that wall” he said famously.
But like most of his campaign promises, it turns out that Trump was lying through his teeth. CNN reports that Donald Trump’s transition team is planning to use the federal appropriations process to pay for the wall.
The Trump team argues it will have the authority through a Bush-era 2006 law to build the wall, lawmakers say, but it lacks the money to do so. Transition officials have told House GOP leaders in private meetings they’d like to pay for the wall in the funding bill, a senior House GOP source said.
So you and I are going to be paying for the wall. House Republicans seem to be excited at the prospect. Rep. Luke Messers (R-IN) admits that it’s “big dollars, but it’s a question of priorities.”
An MIT study projects that Trump’s border wall will cost somewhere around $38 billion dollars. Hypocrite Republicans complain endlessly about how we can’t afford to spend money taking care of our retired seniors and impoverished children, but are freely willing to blow billions of dollars on a useless wall that will ultimately do little to stop immigration into the United States.
It will be interesting to see how the deplorables react to this little piece of news.
