Donald Trump Announces ‘Major’ Press Conference With His Children, The Reason Is A Joke

Oh, yes, that’s really going to be a separation from his businesses. This cannot be allowed at all, and he knows it. He simply does not think that he should play by the rules! MAKE TRUMP play by the rules. Does this sound familiar as in” I will ‘ve releasing my tax info when the audit is over” just anothe bunch of B.S. to shut people up I’m not buying it he will once again finagle things so he is still in control of all his companies?

According to BR In another one of his early morning Twitterfests, President-elect Donald Trump announced that he will removing himself from his businesses, and has promised a Dec. 15 press conference to provide the details.

Trump stated that he will provide more information on how he will be leaving his “great business in total in order to fully focus on running the country.”

According to the tweets:

‘I will be holding a major news conference in New York City with my children on December 15 to discuss the fact that I will be leaving my great business in total in order to fully focus on running the country in order to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

‘While I am not mandated to do this under the law, I feel it is visually important, as President, to in no way have a conflict of interest with my various businesses.

‘Hence, legal documents are being crafted which take me completely out of business operations. The Presidency is a far more important task!’

Since his unexpected win in the 2016 presidential election, Trump has been under scrutiny for possible conflicts of interest while holding the highest office in the land. He has already been outed for holding business meetings with foreign partners, and perhaps even using his influence as the future U.S. president to speed up work in one of his foreign interests.

This Dec. 15 press conference would be the first held by Trump in over four months, with most of his public announcements having been made through Twitter — and with all the detail that 140 characters provide.

According to NBC News, Trump said that his business holdings would be managed by his children in a blind trust. His 500 various holdings involve several different industries across the globe, and many experts say that a “blind” trust could not be maintained between a father and his children. Although there would be no legal reasons he couldn’t hand his business over to his adult children, it could still create the impression of a conflict of interest.

According to Gary Hufbauer, a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics:

‘It’s hard to see how you keep this wall between you and your children … It’s hard to imagine that Trump wouldn’t know what was going on with these properties, with how they are performing, if money is coming in or not, and decisions on buying new properties. There’s not the same degree of ignorance you would have with a blind trust.’

Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee called for a probe into Trump’s business affairs on Monday. Even Republicans are calling for oversight. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, a Republican from Utah, wrote the chairman of the committee, stating:

‘Troubling new revelations about Mr. Trump’s actions — as well as those of his family members and business associates — have made the need for robust congressional oversight even more urgent.’

The NBC News video below explores a new conflict of interest issue rising on the president-elects horizon that centers on his new Old Post Office Hotel in Washington D.C.
