With Trump elected, it will take the Supreme Court to make sure he abides by the constitution and laws. There are serious conflict of interests in Trumps cabinet, and with him. Beware America ,you have a rule breaker in the white house that will favor only him and his family .
According to BR A Supreme Court Justice appointed by President Obama has spoken out in regards to president-elect Donald Trump, and as you can imagine, it’s not the most popular of opinions in a Republican-powered nation, regardless of how logical it is.
It’s not often that we hear from 62-year old Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor, but the recent election of Donald Trump has moved Sotomayor to a point that she saw no other way to comfort a nation mortified at the impending White House infestation of Trump’s inexperienced administration.
In an interview with the Washington Post on Tuesday, Sotomayor said this when asked if she was nervous about the election of Trump:
I’m going to demur from answering that question that way. I will answer it in a different way, which is I think that this is the time where every good person has an obligation both to continue being heard and to continue doing the right thing.”
“We can’t afford for a president to fail. And it is true … that we have to support that which he does which is right and help guide him to those right decisions.
“But we can’t afford to despair, and we can’t afford to give up our pursuing of values that we and others have fought so hard to achieve. And so for me, this is a challenge. So I’m going to continue doing what I think is the right thing. That’s the challenge we all have to face.”
Sotomayor is attempting to inspire liberals like herself to stay calm in the face of adversity, and to keep fighting to make sure that the president-elect doesn’t fail due to the actions of liberals, who so badly want to see him at his lowest point ever.
Trump will fail all on his own, and conservatives should not be able to rightfully accuse liberals of sabotaging him. I mean, they will blame us anyway, but so long as they are full of sh*t, like they always are, it will be ok.
In July, Ruth Bader Ginsburg told the NY Times: “I can’t imagine what this place would be—I can’t imagine what the country would be—with Donald Trump as our president. For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be—I don’t even want to contemplate that.”
That was in a time where a real Trump administration seemed completely impossible, and no one could even grasp the concept of Trump doing as well as he did on the campaign trail. Never before has a presidential candidate set himself up to fail in a way that Trump did. It was almost as if he was actively trying to harm his own reputation, making the collusion rumors with Hillary Clinton seem much more likely than him actually winning.
Without a complete miracle, Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States, and Justice Sotomayor knows that a country divided will only cause more strife and negativity, and while we all have very good reasons for wanting Trump gone, we may just need to get used to the fact that he is our leader for the next four years.
Well, no thank you! We stand against Trump because he is a vile human being whose vulgar behavior is like that of a character in a Lord of the Fliesesque novel with an absolutely terrifying ending. We don’t want to see everything President Obama has worked for erased. We don’t want the country to suffer at the hands of an egomaniac. In the end, we cannot stand by him, because that would make us equally responsible for whatever harmful actions he will take as commander-in-chief.
